May Mommies! Check in!
How crazy that we can say we are having a baby next month! CRAZINESS!
How is everyone doing? I will be 36 weeks on Tuesday and have 31 days left to go! Overall still feeling pretty good. I still have to pack my bag and finish decorating the nursery. Planning on doing that next week. So excited to meet my little love!

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
On bedrest and waiting to get to At least 36 weeks (that will be this coming Wed.). Need to pack the bag, have the carseat in, being checked twice a week and monitoring blood pressure and baby...baby's great through all of this * knock on wood* but it's been me! Lol...cervix not being measured anymore since I'm past 35 weeks, but was long enough last week and closed as of Monday...going back this Monday for a check...so...we're doing the waiting game! So exciting that it's a month or less away!
Funny thing us, one of the nurses said she was on bedrest and was past due with he child!

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
I HOPE I'm still a May mommy!
I'm still at home on bedrest (just updated in another post elsewhere!), still managing my gestational diabetes, still plugging along. I FEEL just fine, but I'm having all these complications. It gets a little depressing, but I recognize things could be soooo much worse, so I deal.
DH is going to pick up the crib mattress tomorrow. Our furniture came last Friday. My shower is next Saturday ... not sure whether I'm going! I have my next appt on Friday so I guess I'll find out then! Fingers crossed!
Hope the rest of you ladies are doing well!

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
I will be 34 tomorrow and I am officially done! Being pregnant with #2 is completely different and way more uncomfortable. Went to my midwife yesterday and well all she could say was that I was "definitely not having a peanut" which I knew. I can't really walk comfortably anymore because I have a lot of pressure and I have been having tons of BH. I wont get an internal till 39w but they think I will probably already be dilated by then Fingers Crossed! We still havent settled on names and I dont really have much done so I get to get moving

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
34 weeks today...planning on packing hospital bag tomorrow...getting furniture and car seat next week...working on cleaning and organizing things for that...
feeling pretty good actually although i have some weird discomfort on my upper rib area but i think my doctor somehow bruised me at my last appt checking for the top of my uterus.
I started doing a yoga DVD that has helped my back pain some...
kinda feel like i am just chugging along and getting things done one at a time...
with only 4 weeks of work to go I think my boss (who was in serious denial i was going to be out for the summer) has finally chosen the person to cover my maternity leave which is nice because now i can start training someone....

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
Hi everyone! 33 weeks yesterday and definitely starting to feel like I need to slow down a little bit. Our little lentil has his foot firmly planted in my rib, so that isn't terribly, but comfortable, but overall feeling well. DH is painting the baby's room this weekend and working on a closet system. I think I am going to pick up a few things (like a car seat) since it feels like it is getting so close and we still have SO much to do!
Hope everyone is feeling well!

Re: May Mommies! Check in!
I'm 33 weeks today!! My c/section is scheduled for 5/10 (38 weeks) (due to the fact that I'm having and had a c-section with DD)
We are so not even close to being ready. I had my work shower last weekend. It was so nice and we got the newborn rocker/sleepers, which were the two things I wanted most. I'm having another shower on thursday evening with my mommy friends here in IL. (we moved out to the 'burbs of Chicago when DD was almost 2, so I never had a shower here.) I'm stopping work on April 10 -- I was only working p/t, but it's getting too exhausting. I haven't been sleeping very well and have all kinds of aches & pains, but I know it could be so much worse, so I'm grateful I still feel ok.
I can't believe that May is around the corner!!! Not too much longer for us, mommas!!!
