Low placenta...still

I had an appt to have my placenta checked again today. I am 33 weeks 2 days and it's still lowChat Icon They want to send me to have a high risk sono done in 2 weeks to better determine if I need a c section or not. I know it's NOT the worst thing in the world, but am so hoping to have the experience of a natural child birth. Anyone with a similar experience with a low placenta have a postive story!? How late can it actually move?

I have a very low placenta too, have had it since 12 weeks. My OB said if it doesn't move by 28 weeks it is most likely not going to and i will be a c-section, no chance for a vaginal delivery. As of my last ultrasound, it still over my cervix.

Mine is actually not covering my cervix at all, it's marginal right on the edge. I was hoping there could be a slight chance it could still move.

Re: Low placenta...still

I had a low lying partial placcenta previa..we kept checking every week but it never moved-I got taken out of work at 36 weeks (I was commuting to NYC) and ended up having DS at 37 1/2 weeks...we had to deliver early because of the risk of bleeding-I had a C-section and it was totally easy breezy! Thanks so much! I might just have to send you an FM! I have to go back in 2 weeks to have a high risk sono doneChat Icon I guess the good news (for now) is that he didn't mention bed rest yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and just discussed with DH that I am going to cut back at work.
