Well, at 34+ weeks I have decided...

it is nearly time to retire my sneakers and take out my flip flops.

It just takes too much freakin effort to put them AND socks on. Just don't have it in me anymore.

March or not, I am officially in flip flop mode Chat Icon Who's with me!?Chat Icon

I am on bed rest, and the only trips I make out of the house are to the doctor.... but every time I get ready to leave the house, I think.... God, I really want to wear flip flops! Thanks for giving me permission Chat Icon I feel much better, now!

I really want to wear flip flops but I need a pedicure first! I was thinking today about how I'm so ready for flip flop season though! Putting on shoes at this point is just too hard. So funny how I took bending at the waist for granted LOL.

I can't wear flip flops, they hurt my feet. I have no idea what I'll do when I get to that point!

Just last night I stored all my boots away in the attic and took down all of my spring/summer shoes, it was such a great feeling!!

Yesterday I attempted to put on my boots and that was so not happening so the flats have made their appearance....let's see how long before the feet swell and I put the flip flops on

well I'm on the other side (post c-section and I have been wearing nothing inside and had to wear my husband's shoes to go to the pediatrician and had to leave the hospital in my SLIPPERS!!!) so I fully support the flip-flop revolution. . it is spring after all!

Re: Well, at 34+ weeks I have decided...

Hmmm Thats not a bad idea. I always felt weird wearing flip flops this early but it would be so much easier. I'm so uncomfortable and can't stand putting shoes on. My hubby helps me put them on a lot of times (thank god) but my feet also swell after a long day in shoes. Flip flops are a great solution!!!!

I am with you!!! It is miserable to try to put socks on and they are so tight because of all the swelling. Time for a pedi and the flops!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
