Uppa Baby Vista chosen...now what carseat & base?
DH and I chose to go with the Uppa Baby Vista stroller. We were told by the sales associate that the three brands of car seats/bases that are compatible with that stroller are Peg Perego, Graco & Chicco. Any thoughts on those who may have this stroller or these brand car seats on which one to go with? And what is the Britax car seat and why would I need that in addition to one of those other car seats?
Thanks in advance for your patience....this is our first child and the stroller/car seat base system shenanigans has been a bit confusing to wrap our head around.

we're getting the uppa baby also. I think Graco and Chicco get the best reviews but they are probably all okay.
the Britax is the convertible carseat for when they grow out of the infant seat so you will need it eventually. it's the infant seat you want to buy so it's compatible, assuming you want the car seat adaptor for your stroller.

We chose the graco, originally I thought I wanted the peg perego, but it was too heavy for me.

we have the vista and used the chicco keyfit 30 for DS. Uppa Baby makes the infant seat adapter so you can use the frame as a snap and go with the Keyfit ... it was awesome

we used Peg Perego and LOVED it. We did the stroller system and it was also easy to tote around.
We did have to buy an extra base for our second car.

I LOVED my Chicco. I got it on Amazon as a set but it was cheaper and had free shipping. We got the Miro pattern. Again LOVED LOVED LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it!!!
