Is he sick...is he teething??? I have no idea.
DS has been very congested and sneezing out a lot of goop. 1 day ago he had terrible diarrhea.
He also seems to be drooling a lot more and it looks like his gums might be splitting in some spots.
Can he get a cold from his teeth?? He will be 8 months on Monday. No teeth yet!
I don't know what to do...we were up ALL night. I don't feel a fever, but gave him Motrin anyway b/c he was so miserable. I have been sucking out the boogies (which he hates and makes him scream bloody murder).
I just feel so bad for him. Is there anything else I can do to make him comfortable? He refused to lay in his crib. I had him in the Nap Nanny all night (when I wasn't holding him) and he slept about 3-4 hours broken up.
He is being Baptized this Sunday so I am sweating this out right now. I need a hug

Sounds like my DS when he is about to cut his teeth. Happens to a lot of babies...

Okay Thank You! I have been so stressed out lately and with his Christening being this weekend, this is just all we need. I hope it's his teeth, poor baby is probably getting like 4 at once.

Same thing happened the week before DS's 1st birthday party. He cut a tooth the week after that..

Try some saline nose drops and suction the goop out. Then try a humidifier. I gave Motrin at night to help him sleep better. Give it to him about 30-45 minutes before bed so it has time to work. Teething is horrible. My son is a slow teether. Right now he is cutting a molar. Going on about 2 weeks!!!

ugh i feel your pain my dd has been cutting THREE MOLARS at the same time she is miserable her nose is terribly stuffed weve been using saline spray and suction several times a day.

Thanks for the support. He hates the Saline & suction. It makes me so sad. I'm trying to make him more comfortable. I just hope it's his teeth and not something worse. I really feel at a loss until some teeth show up. I just bundled him up in a blanket and went outside for 5 mins. Thought maybe the fresh air would help.
