Seeking info on wood playsets for the yard
Talk to me about wooden playsets for the yard.
I want something phenomenal! Not just basic but insanely awesome!
Besides Wood Kingdom, where else do I look? Any pics or comments appreciated.

Rainbow or Creative playthings.
I have a standard set, so I'm not much help but you can design them anyway you want.

There's a place on Glen Cove Rd by just north of 25a that I pass all the time...they've got a bunch of displays outside the store that look really nice.

Look no further then Creative Playthings. We bought ours from there ans they can get insanely creative with the sets. We've owned our for 2 years now and its looks and is a solid as day one. We did a lot of research prior to our purchase. In my opinion I would stay away from Wood kingdom for wood. If you have the money and want PVC then they are the route.

Re: Seeking info on wood playsets for the yard
We have a Creative Playthings set and it's great. I really wanted to get one that looked like a castle or a pirate ship - they have add ons like swings, slides, ramps, etc. Very cool as it doubles as a playhouse. I also liked the PVC and vinyl playsets - no maintenance.
Look on ebay - there was an Amish seller who had the vinyl sets for a reasonable and some of them were really amazing. Of course, they can put together any combination you want.

Thank you! Does creative playthings install it for you? Are there any "store fronts" in LI we can go look at them? Thanks everyone!

Re: Seeking info on wood playsets for the yard
We're in the market right now and I'm doing tons of research. We didn't like anything at Wood Kingdom and did find something at Creative Playthings (if you're buying they have a good sale until Tuesday). But I think we are going to order one on-line from Kid's Creations. THey are 100% redwood (CPT is pressure-treated pine) and look like the best sets for the $$.
Their site is Kids Creations

Yes they do. There is a store in Lindenhurst on 109 and Jericho on 25. There are more that you can find on their website.
