At first glance I thought the earlier flight. But, that means you'll need to be at the airport by 6am. I think you live in Suffolk now which means you would want to leave at 5am if you are parking.
If you are up to that, then do it. Otherwise Islip seems a bit easier.

I would do the first one. I always prefer to get to my destination earlier, and it's cheaper.

As much as I love flying out of slip I would go out for LGA for that price difference. How far are you from LGA, that's a consideration too

I live in Setauket
I work friday nights- so I could sleep if I fly out of islip- but if I make $150 bartending- I just blew it on the flight
maybe I shouldn't work and fly out friday night
let me price that

$33 a day to park at LGA
$14 a day at islip
it makes islip win
now it's only a $50 difference

Here's another pro for ISP: You are much less likely to be delayed out of Islip. LGA is notorious for delays.

Islip. It's closer, easier to get dropped off/picked up if you're not parking, less delays.

$80 cheaper
so it's a wash with gas...islip might even be cheaper
I think I am just annoyed that the Islip flight is later- and 2 weeks ago it was $220- I just not getting paid till this week so I didn't want to book it earlier
and my Dad is right again- fly out of Islip-

Also, are you debating Southwest vs. another airline and are you checking a bag? If so, bags are free on Southwest so there would be that savings too.

I hate hate hate LGA and would pay the extra $100 so I could fly out of Islip. Also - I would feel more comfortable leaving my car in Islip.
