i may have started the thread but you started the argument by posting a rude comment that wasn't asked for. you could have stated your opinion without being rude, ESPECIALLY since you know that dh and i both have red hair. i wouldn't ever say anything on one of your posts that would potentially offend you, and i didn't expect that from you either which is why i was so taken back by your inconsiderate statement. you also took it to another level with the pictures, etc.
but, whatever. you don't find me attractive. good for you

I said people with red hair are usually either what MOST people would say 'Yes, attractive' or 'No, not attractive.'
I'm sorry, Britt... I've seen pics of you AND your husband and you guys are BOTH good looking.
But ask me about my neighbor or hubby's relatives with red hair and shake my head. 
Didn't mean to start an ACTUAL throwdown.

Wait until the long-haired men threads start and everyone starts talking again about how unattractive men are with long hair.  My hubby has a ponytail!

I do find them attractive, but my "type" is more dark - darker skin, darker hair, darker eyes. Doesn't make me not appreciate eye candy when I see it, though...blond, red, light brown hair.
I've never really thought about a ratio of how many attractive redheads to unattractive redheads in this world  But there are plenty of weird-looking people of all hair colors out there. And plenty of nice-looking people.
Personally, I find Conan to be really balls-to-the-wall HOT. DH never understands it. I tell him that even though I married Bengali, I have fantasies about going back to my Irish roots with Conan.

I think Prince Harry is hot.
I do notice that I used to be really drawn to blondes for a while. Then I really was into dark haired guys. Now.. I don't care. Hot is hot no matter what color hair they have!

Wow! A little uncalled for, I should think. I take PERSONAL offence as a redhead married to a redhead.
Some of the most beautiful actresses of all time have been redheads: Maureen O'Hara, Rita Hayworth, Katherine Hepburn, Deborah Kerr, Esther Williams, Bette Davis.
The reason there are few "attractive" redheads is because it is rare. Approximately 1% to 2% of the human population has red hair.

Our entire family is red-head and we LOVE the red hair! I think we look pretty good! I have tried to dye the red hair and no matter what within days the red is shining through, i have learned to love my red hair! DD's hair is coming in very red as well...
