I remember hearing awhile back it has the chemical bismuth in it which is similar to arsenic....true? Or maybe I'm forgetting what I heard before?

I've kind of taken a make up break but am considering mineral makeup but am not sure if they're "ok"...

From what they advertise it's supposed to be good for your skin. I've tried it and didn't like it, but alot of girls swear by it! I'm a big fan of Clinique Almost Powder makeup, very natural.

I heard that the minerals are bad for your lungs. Since the make up is powder you inevitably inhale it when as you apply.

Contain a lot of talc, which is bad for your lungs. I stopped using it for this reason. You find powder everywhere in your bathroom so it obviously travels alot, I can imagine what is being inhaled.

Same here. It gets EVERYWHERE. I've used it for 9 yrs and now I'm experimenting with mineral pressed and different powder foundations.

Try dusting hte crevices of your tile on your walls (if you have). Or your moldings. You will see colored powder, I bet. I know I have found it in tiny crevices of my tile, etc and I didn't even use it daily or alot of it. It is powder, it travels easily.

I use Bare Minerals but I also used Jane Iredale (it's hard to find a seller so I mostly use Bare Minerals).

Jane Iredale has a liquid mineral foundation.

Liquid Foundation

I like her products as well.
