Moms of toddlers - Christmas present question
Do you give your toddler clothes as a Christmas present? and if you do, do you bother to wrap them?

I don't think we will - hadn't even thought of it. But if we do, yeah, I'll wrap it.

I think you should wrap everything so they can have the fun of unwrapping.
I don't think they get mad about getting clothes until 3 or 4 the earliest.

Re: Moms of toddlers - Christmas present question
For me, I don't give clothes as presents. I feel like it's my job as mom to be buying them clothes. When they are older and wants something expensive, then yes. Like I bought my 12 year old niece a pair of Uggs for Xmas this year.

Re: Moms of toddlers - Christmas present question
i did buy my DD clothes for Christmas this year...but they are things i would normally never buy or let her pick out. she is obsessed with Cars and Toy Story so she got a Jessie top and pjs and also a cars top and sweatshirt (boys clothes but they dont make girls clothing from that freaking movie!) she is going to LOVE them so i dont mind them being a gift.

Yes, I think I agree with this. If other people want to buy him clothes then fine, but I buy him stuff so often that I don't really feel like it's a Christmas present, you know?
thanks for the repliies

Re: Moms of toddlers - Christmas present question
For my kids, I don’t give clothes as presents. Though, this year, I made a little exception because I bought her a cupcake bathrobe, a cupcake t-shirt and a cupcake necklace (I’ll package them together). I feel like the other poster, I personally don’t want to give my girls clothes as gifts unless it’s something really special, it’s kind of more of an every-day thing I provide them.

I don't but my mother and grandmother do and yes, they always wrap them - they love opening the presents.

Re: Moms of toddlers - Christmas present question
I'm wrapping a few items of clothing for Lily this year as gifts....because they're special and she loves clothes! She's getting a few princess nightgowns that she's going to go crazy over, a t-shirt that has a "3" on it, and a few t-shirts with Jessie from Toy Story on them, because Jessie is her favorite right now.
