WWYD? Thank you card question!
A few days ago, DH and I got an adorable sleep sack in the mail from a couple friend of ours. They can't make our January shower because they live in Ohio, so I sent them a nice thank you card for the sleep sack just yesterday. Today, I recieved ANOTHER package from them with 4 outfits!  The first package was completely unexpected, and the second was very very generous (the husband is finishing up his PhD, they have a baby plus one on the way--so money is tight).
So my question: Do I send another thank you card even though I just sent a pretty personal one? Or do I call them and thank them for this one?

I'd just call them to thank them for the second gift. I wouldn't send a second card but you do want them to know you got it.

That's what I was thinking. I just hope they're not offended that I didn't acknowledge everything in the card, you know?

I would call them and not send a 2nd thank you. Its a nice way to say thank you again for being so generous.
