i use anything..which is probably why my lips get so chapped. truth be told, i have used pretty much everything, even really expensive stuff. i found that no matter what i use, if I dont apply really often (hourly almost), my lips get chapped. so im back to using cheap stuff, preferably with a nice flavor/scent.

Nothing works for me so I just keep reapplying stuff.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter stick during the day.
Straight up Vaseline from the jar at bedtime.

I like carmex in the pot and the black chapstick. I also like bliztex. If they ate very chapped, I will use something very greasy like aquaphor or Vaseline at night.
