Dry/Chapped Lips- Infants

what can you do for them? DD's are getting chapped, and she's got a little crack in them (and my DH is a freak about the humidity in the house, so it's not that it's too dry in here either! Chat Icon )

I put a light layer of Acquafor on DS's lips, but not too much so that's he's eating it! Chat Icon

Lucas hasn't had that yet but since he drools so much I have to lather his face with aquaphor...I put a light layer over his lips too.

Hmm...I have no clue what Aquaphor really is, but I've heard of it so much Chat Icon

Do they sell it in CVS, etc? Thanks!

Most drug stores carry it. I bought it at Duane Reade. They have regular aquaphor and a baby version. You can find the regular in the aisle with all the hand and body lotions and the baby one in the baby care aisle. (usually)

No - I use the regular one too. I stressed over this because they never have the baby one...my pediatrician laughed at me. Chat Icon

Isn't it the same thing, just different packaging?

That's why he laughed at me...but to defend myself - I never got my hands on a bottle of the baby one so I couldn't compare. Chat Icon

No other symptoms, thankfully. I think they're just a little chapped.
