Re: Do you like Macys?
Well I buy from some real cheap places and I don't like them so I don't know if it was a knock on stores that sell cheaper items or hold a lot of sales as much as maybe she just doesn't like it there -- I have had some horrible customer service experiences, I rarely find anything I like when I just go shopping in general there, and the whole store is just not that neat and organized. I never buy clothing - just no luck with that there - but I have bought sheets, some cologne for DH, make up from MAC, and some Lenox pieces for Christmas (the Village). I registered there for the convenience of those buying for me since there are so many locations (this was before BB&B expanded their china area to be real nice). Yeah, overall, subpar.

Re: Do you like Macys?
I dont care for Macy's. I feel like their quality has really gone down hill in the last several years. I still have a giftcard from last xmas, I cant find anything to buy.

Macy's is okay, but definitely not my favorite store. I like to look around but rarely do I buy anything there.

Well, I don't like Macy's...but I have had problems with them regarding my credit card. So I closed my account and decided to take my business elsewhere. Their clothes are fine, but they don't have high end brands like Wacoal (which I need to wear since I'm a 34 DDD), so it's not like I could shop for everything in one place there anyways.
When did they stop carrying Wacoal? I used to buy them with F&F discount.

Re: Do you like Macys?
I despise them. Their return policy is a total scam--they offer 180 days but don't actually allow 180 days. The records all magically disappear from their computers.
If you want to make an even exchange (size, color, etc) they try to make you pay them and say the computer won't allow it to go through. Its and EVEN exchange why do I have to pay????
And don't EVER lose your receipt--you'll get back about $4 in store credit for a $500 item.
I hate them and I hate that I have about $500 in gift cards there from my wedding

Re: Do you like Macys?
i buy my undergarments there, as for clothes i think it depends on the location, some have better selections then others i will always go look but i hate having to look in all the different sections according to designer but i do love that i pretty much always have a coupon

Re: Do you like Macys?
It's ok. I prefer the Herald Square location because it's so big and there's more to choose from.
I have to say - I bought a somewhat expensive dress to wear to a wedding and the damn thing ripped on me. Just ripped up the back in so many sections. They normally don't take back worn items but the second the manager saw what had happened, she apologized profusely and gave me a store credit right away for the full amount right away.
Of course the closest Macy's to me sucks so I haven't been able to spend the credit yet but I was surprised by how nicely I was treated on that return. Because I honestly expected to have to put up a fight to get my money back.

Re: Do you like Macys?
Not a fan. I think they jack up prices and then good luck finding what you can use the coupons on. Also, I get a headache trying to look through things and never walk out with anything I like. I find things once in awhile but I don't have the patience.
I prefer other stores for both myself and DD.
