Solids and Dropping Bottles
It seems that now that DS has solids he doesn't take much of his bottles. Yesterday he only had 28 ozs total..that's 3.5 bottles.
Is this normal?? Did your DC cut down on bottles when he/she started having solids?? I just don't want him to miss out on the nutrition that he gets from formula.

Yup, DD did this starting a couple of weeks ago. She's down to 24-28 oz a day in 4 bottles. Totally normal.

I was hoping this was normal.
I can't beleive he's growing up so quickly. I guess I'm not ready for him to drop bottles :-\

Re: Solids and Dropping Bottles
Yes - my doctor told me he would be cutting down on bottles when he started solids. DS has been on solids since 4 months old and now at 7 months old he has 3 bottles (7.5 oz each) a day. Occassionally he will have a fourth bottle.
