********question of the day for moday*******

good morning girls

How often do you and DH talk about ttc, being parents, having a baby etc.?

we neveeerrrr talk about it. we just know we want a baby we do what we got to do - no questions asked

dh hasnt even said a workd about me having my legs up after

and we dont talk baby names and stuff like that. DH is not like that but i would love too. and i would rather not scare him off lol

We try not to talk about it too much do. We just do what we have to do and hope for the best. My DH believes that "stressing" about it, makes things worse. However, I think about it ever single minute of the day!

we dont really talk about it a lot...this was our first month of just winging it and seeing what happens so I dont wanna talk about it all the time and get DH freaked out.

Before my DD was born we always talked about having kids, how we would raise them, what we would name them, and so on. We loved talking about and planning for our future family. Now that we are TTC #2 it's the same thing, we chat about it all the time.

we dont ever really talk about ttc... we have talked about names and that we think we'll be good parents... but even that is rare

we honestly dont talk about it a lot. We know what names we like and we reference being parents but we dont have deep discussions about it. I think we will chat about it a little more once we actually start TTC.

barely discuss about it, its like the taboo subject in the house. The only reason I know he is ready is because now there is no pull out attempt being made at all.

we talk about it all the time!!! I just want to get pregnant already so we stop talking about the what ifs!

We talk about it but not all the time. We used to talk about timing and work and all that. Now that we're actually trying, he know I use opks and I tell him when it's positive. Other than that, he knows the bare minimum. I don't want to add any pressure by talking about it all the time, even if we both know it's always on my mind!

Well, we havent officially started TTC yet so thats probably why I havent talked as much as I want to about the subject. I do however bring it up quite often saying things like, "I cant wait until we start TTC" and "How long do you think it will take to get pregnant" lol just stupid random things. He goes with the flow but hes not terribly excited as I am but hes def. for it! He wants a baby as bad as I do but doesnt talk about it as much as I do.

All. the. time.

We are starting January but are always discussing children and have been forever it seems.

Well I am obsessed with babynames so even when we were dating I was saying "do you like this name?" or whatever.

Also we discussed how many kids we want before marriage.

And now that it will be a reality for us, one of us will see or hear something and ask the other "what would you do if you were the parent?"

Maybe it is odd that we do talk about it as much as we do, but since I work with kids I seem to always have sccenarios that we can say "I would have done x,y,z" it makes me relieved bc I we learned we are on the same page.

ETA: We do not discuss TTC other than when we will start. My DH seems to think the minute you decide to try POOF you are pregnant

We talked about it a little with dd #1... but she wasa bit of a surprise... this time we talk about it ALL the time.. and he says " are you pregnant yet" we talk about it alot and everything

I'm shocked how many couples don't talk about it!

DH and I discuss it all the time. I think communication is super important, especially with a topic as huge as this. We want to be sure we're both on the same page with things, if either of us has fears, second thoughts, etc.

We just started trying, but we talk about it a few times throughout the week. Nothing at all serious, just in passing. Sometimes he rolls his eyes at me, but usually he's game.

we talk about the future and things that will happen when we have kids , like how much fun it will be to take kids to the park or zoo, and it wont be weird to like go to chuckie cheese and play games ...this is what DH said to me yesterday, i can't wait to take my son to chuckie cheese and play games again...i looked at him like really? we can go to dave and busters tonight if you want? ...and he was like no i want the pizza and to see that freaky mouse

We talk about it a lot. We haven't told many other people and I need an outlet. I think DH would rather talk about it less, but he lets me vent. Also, a lot of our friends are pregnant/have had babies recently, so it comes up a lot.

we talk about it a decent amount actually. usually it's me saying "babe, u know we're going to need to more often when TTC?"

somehow it comes up everyday...

we'll be talking about finshing the house and one of us has an idea for the nursery...

we'll be talking about bills and next thing you know we're talking about saving for the baby we don't have yet

we'll be outside going for a walk and somehow we are picturing what it will be like when there are 3 of us...

we were cleaning out the garage, oh wait, make sure there will be enough room for the stroller in there...

it constantly comes up
