I can't even imagine how you heart must have dropped. The chin is such a weakspot, I bet many of us, myself icluded, have had stitches there. He will be fine, I promise!

Yup, I almost feel like it is a right of passage to get stitches on your chin, so many people have.
I have had them, my brother has had them. I could go on and on!
Glad to hear DS is doing well and hopefully you are able to take some nice deep breaths and calm down from the experience! I can imagine it must have been really frightening!

I have been there!!!
Facial wounds bleed horribly and look much worse than they really are.
DD was jumping on our bed and fell, and split her eyebrow open needing 5 stitches. In the ER I was a MESS... sobbing uncontrollably, it was bad. Their bodies heal so fast, its amazing. He will be as good as new before you know it.
