At 20 weeks i gained 12 pounds.I started out at a healthy weight but feel i am gaining quicker then others :( I am eating a lot more then pre pregnancy.
I only weigh myself on the days i go to the doctor. I would be depressed all the time otherwise.

20w 2d -- im up 14 pounds
ETA: i was underweight before i got preggo, so gaining weight has been very important for me -- i'm trying to do it in the healthy way (like, not big out on junk food)

Honestly, i think your control over it is limited.
With my first PG, i didn't gain any weight until well into my third trimester, and then i gained 34 pounds! I was at 0 pounds for 24 weeks. Then between weeks 24-28, i gained 4 pounds, and Then... between weeks 28-32 i gained 11 pounds! I didn't change anything i ate, i was actually walking more and more active then (we had just moved into our house). So really, i think your body is just going to do what it's going to do. Just enjoy it!

But I'm not stressing. I was really really hungry for a few weeks there & craved sweets.
Now, I'm just concentrating on eating healthier.

I can make you all feel better real quick... I gained a total of 48lbs with my first DS and about 52-53 with my second!
