It takes us forever to deposit checks. We never go to the bank and really aren't waiting on the money that the check is for so it's kind of a matter of whenever it's convenient.
ditto! it can take me months do deposit a check. my mother knows not to write me checks b/c she still balances her checkbook and gets annoyed with waiting for me to cash checks

We do not always go right away but we try not to wait that long bc I know it can mess people up when balancing their checkbooks.

I always try to do it within a week or 2 otherwise I feel really bad that I could be messing with someone's checkbook.

I always give cash at weddings for this reason. I hate going to the bank so it takes me a while to deposit any checks.

I try to do it right away, within a week. Sometimes I forget or don't get a chance to go to the bank, but I try to get them in as fast as possible.
