My 4month old has chicken pox
The mystery of how she got it is still unknown but on top of the pox she also has a staph infection. The pediatrician called with the results last night and then sent us to the ER because she had had a fever on Saturday night and they had to rule out an infection in her blood. So far she checked out alright but now I have to wait on blood culture results because if they come back with anything growing she'll have bought herself a ticket to the hospital for IV antibiotics. On top of that my 3yr old is sick and started wheezing while we were in the ER last night. I almost marched right back to triage to get her checked out as well but luckily I had remembered her asthma medication. I was going to joke with the staff if they were running a two for one special but was feeling too stressed. On top of everything I started a new job last week so I'm trying not to take off because I don't want to give them the impression that I'm a flake so I feel very torn right now. Ugh when it rains it pours.

OMG! That is awful- you poor baby.
Don't worry about work- they will see its just a horrible situation right now and will pass. I always worry about work and it ends up fine.
