9 month old in contact with 3 yo w/chicken pox

long story short,
this weekend is my sisters wedding, my mom has out of town guests coming and we just found out that the 3 year old boy has chickenpox. his rash appeared on monday. they're coming tomorrow. wedding is saturday.
obviously DD would make contact with him, i can avoid tomorrow probably. but sunday they would meet and all next week.
obviously shes not 1 yet so she didnt have the varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine. im waiting for a call back from my doc.

can a child before 1 get it?
can she get it through me, if i make contact but she doesnt?
(ive had the chicken pox)

also - i really dont want her to get it next week, bc DH is leaving on a trip for a week so i dont want to be left with a reallllly cranky chicken pox victoria ;)

what do you ladies think.

theyve been planning this trip for months and their ped said its ok
