Giving chicken to a one year old...
I have been baking plain chicken for ds to eat. Is it okay to add some spice like paprika to it?
TIA

YES YES YES!
Since DS was on purees I would spice his foods. I believe that if from the beginning they are used to different tastes you will have an easier time with dinner.
DS is 18 months and eats every spice known to man - from cumin to garlic, from rosemary to chili powder since he was a baby.

Absolutely, our ped said to expose them to as many spices as possible. It helps to develop their pallet.

These are my exact feelings. We started with cinnamon in her applesauce at like 5 months. She was eating spicy chili by 8 or 9 months old! (not toooo spicy, but still)

Yes, but you're supposed to do spices the same way that you do other foods....only introduce one at a time and wait to make sure there is no reaction.
