Not a quote, but this is what I have posted to the wall on my cube at work.

I read it & live by these words every day of my life.

Tell me who your best friends are,
and I will tell you who you are

Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions
along the road of life.

Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.

You gotta take the good with the bad; smile with the sad, love what you got & remember what you had, learn to forgive, but never forget, learn from your mistakes, but never regret, people change, things go wrong just remember that life goes on?

My BFF and i used to call this the "Strong Woman Poem".. it got us through break ups and all that other crap. we had it hanging on the wall of our dorm in college:
