If you have a large chest

Where do you usually shop? Especially for work clothes?

I tried Banana Republic and the Ann Taylor outlet this weekend and OMG - those clothes are made for women with no boobs! Chat Icon

Normally I do really well at NY and Co. but lately all of their shirts are long like tunics and that's not flattering for my frame.

I HATE Macy's with a passion because I feel like their stuff is so "old" but I might have to suck it up and go shopping there. Don't even suggest JCP, I refuse to shop there Chat Icon

Re: If you have a large chest

i wish i had better advice for you! i haven't done well in Banana or Ann Taylor either (pretty much the same problem!).

I get most of my stuff at Old Navy, but I have actually liked some of the things at Macys lately. Give it another try! Have you tried kohls? I really like their clothes too! There is always QVCChat Icon

Damnit I always forget about Kohl's! And I have a credit there too!

I tried Old Navy... I ended up with one shirt. Nothing they have is good for work, unfortunately.

I didn't know you could buy clothes on QVC Chat Icon

Re: If you have a large chest

try kohls.

i hate macys - i can't stand having to go all over for the different designer departments. PLEASE just put all the shirts in 1 SECTION. UGH!

i also don't go near JCP unless I need a dress. or socks.

Kohl's! And if you have their credit card, there are always coupons!

I can do casual for work, so I have some button downs and other tops from Old Navy too.

I have also found tops in Target!

I used to love NY&Co., but I found there shirts to be too short! I have a big chest and a long torso, so I need longer length tops.

Re: If you have a large chest

What kind of clothes do you need for work?
I have to wear a suit or a 'business professional' dress pretty much every day - I do well @ the Limited, Lord & Taylor, Ann Taylor (the real Ann Taylor, NOT the Loft)

I can dress a little more casually, but not much. I tend to wear dress pants and a cute top every day. I can't wear dresses, unfortunately, as I have to wear a belt Chat Icon I forgot about the Limited, thanks. Chat Icon

Re: If you have a large chest

go to Macy's in Herald Square.

the clothing selecton there is AWESOME (and not at all old, as every other Macy's feels to me)

the 2nd and 3rd floors are great. as it dresses Chat Icon

it's my favorite dept store. THAT location only.

I've been having a lot of trouble with Banana and Loft shirts (meaning I haven't really been able to buy anyChat Icon ) but NY & CO is NEVER good for me b/c the shirts are overly large in the waist area (on me) and make me look round instead of curvy.

ETA: I realize with Izzy and Luca it would be a trek. but it would be well worth it. and maybe having a half day for yourself will do you some good to get out!
