Zoe282 (and anyone else who wants to discuss the last chance for 2010 baby!)

I was just catching up on some of your conceiveonline blogs and saw the "Last Chance" one. I recently had the same thought, realizing this is my last cycle that I could have a baby in 2010!
If I get pregnant this cycle, my EDD (based on computer calculators) is 12/23!
I used to always say I'd rather not have a baby around the holidays, but now I realize how little control I have over this situation and I will gladly take a baby any time of the year.


Let's hope we're both Dec 2010 mommies!

I believe April 9th is the LAST day you can conceive and drop a baby in 2010. It would give you an EDD of 12/31/10!! I was hoping to get one in by then but unfortunately the miscarriage threw a wrench in those plans. Good luck to everyone else!

It's still possible...my DD was due 1/26, but she couldn't wait and ended up coming 12/24!

i am a november baby and i always complained to my mom how everyone else in my grade was older and that they could drive, turn 18, turn 21, etc. before me. my mom would always say "well, then have a january baby!!!" now i see how mean that was to say to my mom bc it's not like she had control over it and who cares when a baby is born as long as it's healthy and happy!!!!

i always said i wouldn't want a holiday baby either and i know, i know it's only one year but i don't want to miss xmas and xmas eve!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUTTTTTTTTT now that march is over for me, and i REALLY REALLY want a baby, i don't care when it comes!!!!! i really don't give a flying poop when the baby comes i just want a BFP!!!!!!!!!

I think part of the reason i got so upset last cycle (our first one really trying FYI) was bc i knew that it meant that we have only one more cycle before it's not possible to be a 2010 mommy. Last xmas we were at MIL's and one of our friends and SIL were both pg and everyone was like "oooo we'll have 2 new famiily members here next year!"! but in my head i was like "NO, MAKE THAT THREE!!!!!" but with april upon us, it doesn't look like there will be 3 ugh i seriously don't like TTC!!!!!!!

I'm a holiday birthday - 12/21 - and I'm always saying how I don't want a holiday baby - it takes a lot away from the birthdays - especially the older you get. Plus, planning birthday parties is never fun around the holidays. Don't even get me started on "Holiday Birthday" cards and gifts....REALLY?!?!?

So, I did the math and if DH and I do conceive this month, I'd be due 12/17 - not ideal - but at this point I'm torn! However, subconsciously, I think we're both trying to avoid it....we've BD a lot less this cycle and I haven't been as deligent with my OPK's either!

However, DH and I always joke about how, inevitably, we'll probably get pg this month because I'm so against a holiday baby!

It's scary right! Thanks for reading my Conceive posts by the way! I just can't believe that I was due to have a baby February 13, 2010, and now I am close to not having a 2010 baby at all! I never thought it would be like this.

Its funny cause like the rest of you I was like...no holiday babies! but now I know it will be a blessing!! I am praying for it actually!!! (still really scary to think this is it though )

I know I used to think the same thing but not so much because of the holidays but because I wanted to have a spring/summer baby so we could have out door parties now I could care less and now I will take my BFP whenever its my time

i am a november baby too ( around thanksgiving time), so i always wanted to have a baby not too close to the holidays. But now.. I just want a baby! Even a new years' eve baby( if my dr cooperates )

I was going to write the same thing! It really makes me a little sad to think that I only have one more chance for a 2010 baby. Even though logically I know there isn't much difference between a 12/2010 and say a 1/2011 baby it just makes it seem so much further away. It's a whole other year!

For me personally, there is a big difference between November/December & January ... I'll have much less time that I'd be able to stay home with my because my busiest time at work starts in January.

But like others have said, at this point I no longer care when, I just want a !
