you'd think after 10 months of TTC i would know the difference
...between EWCM and DH's leftovers  
maybe if i had more than like 3 days total of real EWCM in the last 10 months i would be able to tell 
still after all of this time the day after BD i go to the bathroom and get all excited about what's going on down there - until i remember that i BD'd the day before and that's what's coming out of me and im probably not Oing anytime ever...
anyone have any suggestions as to how to tell the difference??

Wish I could help!  But, I am in the same boat as you. I have no idea what the difference is. I have researched and looked at pics online. Still nada.

I know there is some water test you can do. Like one floats the other doesn't, gross Not sure which is which though.

I often have the same issue. Leftovers usually break easier. And the water test, while gross, definitely works!

the problem i have with the water test is that when im at work - i cant exactly pull out a giant piece and get a cup and test it out
and i am MOST DEFINITELY not putting my hand in the office toilet
not to mention the issue of getting it off your hand and into the water
this is a sticky subject (love my terrible pun)

leftovers from BDing will dry up if you rub it between your fingers....gross I know! EWCM is creamier....(vomit)
Another way is when you wipe...the leftovers will eventually dry up in a few minutes while EWCM stays gooey on the paper.
