Anyone else have a hard time installing the carseat?
DH spent a 1/2 hour trying to install it in my car yesterday and got so frustrated that he couldn't figure it out that he just left it, so it's just sitting in the back of my car. He was never the handiest of guys

LOL I went to Good Sam hospital and had mine installed for just that reason.

I think DH attempted one of our seats and gave up pretty quickly. We've had every car seat (infant and convertible) installed by our local police department.

This may be a really stupid question, but did he look at the instructions? I ask only bc DH said that it was impossible as well, until I made him look at the instructions. 
It falls under the same category as asking for directions...they don't do it until you have a cow (or a baby in this instance).

This may be a really stupid question, but did he look at the instructions? I ask only bc DH said that it was impossible as well, until I made him look at the instructions.
It falls under the same category as asking for directions...they don't do it until you have a cow (or a baby in this instance).
Yes, he looked at both the directions and my car owners manual and STILL couldn't figure it out, but this is the same guy that has a hard time installing outlet covers LOL

 Definitely have him bring it somewhere to get installed.

OMG this made me laugh because my brother got us lost one day and when I suggested directions he said "Columbus didn't need directions" I pointed out that COLUMBUS was on his way to INDIA when he got LOST and HAPPENED UPON AMERICA....I swear men!!!!!!!!

DH is very handy, but I don't trust him to install it. I will let him install it and then get it inspected by the pros

90% of car seats are installed incorrectly- you can contact Safe Kids in Nassau County and they should be able to give you a schedule of when they are having car seat checks
