Opinions for christening food
We decided to have it at our house, we're going to cook most of it ourselves and cater a few things. I just had a question on the appetizers. I dont want chips & dip or a hero. We were thinking:
cheese & crackers
shrimp cocktail
maybe fruit?
For dinner:
baked ziti
sausage & peppers
chicken teriyaki
chicken nuggets (for kids)
pasticcio
eggplant rollatini
spinach pie
greek salad
pasta salad
bread & butter
cake
galaktoboureko (like a honey custard dessert)
chocolate lollipops for favors
cream puffs
mini eclairs
What do you think? Am I missing something? too much? too little? This is for 50-70 people.

don't go crazy with the apps anyway..there is so much to choose from people will just dig into that!
ETA: I WISH my grandma made galaktoboureko
