I still don't think the guy should come on TV to appologize.
I don't need his appology. He did nothing to me.
Why do people want him to do a public appology?
The only appology he should make should stay in private... to his family and to his sponsors. NOT ME! I don't need to "humiliate" the guy publicly. He owes me nothing!

I thought it was his business at first but then I thought about it and realized that he sold "us" on his name. All those ads about "I am Tiger" - buy this because I am Tiger and I'm someone you can believe in, etc.
Obviously he owes it to his family but I think he owes it to the people that have supported him over the years and watched him and bought his endorsements because of him.

After watching it, I think it has more to do with his endorsements and any charities he's involved with. Probably doesn't want to loose anymore $$$
And to publicly apologize to his wife. Not that we needed to see it, but it seems they (him & his wife)feel he needed to do it.

i just don't get it - why apologize to the public? Do I care that you cheated on your wife - no! The only way i feel bad is the fact that he was used as a role model example to children. But as I have said for years their are no real role models in life that are "famous" the real role models in life are the unsung heroes that are regular folk.
We all know he is doing it to get his sponsorships back - that was the whole reason in going to sex addiction rehab. Please - your rich/famous and a creep i get it - most of you powerful men are going to cheat (not all but most) and i think the wife not knowing the extent of his escapades amazes me but then again she is wearing all nike gear lately so i guess she wants her paycheck.

I cannot for the life of me understand why this needed to be broadcast on EVERY channel.
I didn't need an apology from him. None of us do, IMO. His wife and children deserve one, and whether or not they accept it is completely a private and personal matter.
