Symptoms
How long do you need to feel something before you consider it a symptom? I have been trying to figure out if I am ovulating and for the past few days I've been having some cramps (as if I pulled a muscle) down near my right ovary. However in total I only feel it for about 1 hour each day. Can I consider this a symptom/sign?

Re: Symptoms
Not exactly sure of timing wise. I know the same crampy feeling happens to me too tho. Are you temping or using an OPK? I think those are the only sure ways to tell if you are/will be Oing

Re: Symptoms
I'm not temping or using OPK's. I just got off of BCP and wanted to see how long my cycles were. Since you dont O on the pill I forget what it feels like lol. I'm hoping these cramps are from ovulating. When you have those cramps are you ovulating?
Hopefully I'm not over analyzing every little twitch, cramp and tenderness in my body

Re: Symptoms
We're all in the TTC boat - of course your're overanalyzing! We all do!!
Last time I went to my ob/gyn she said that there was something called "mittleschmerz". It's basically the crapming that happens around the time of ovulation....but not all women feel it and the cramping could be other things too. It's so hard to tell without charting or using OPK's.

Who comes up with these words. "Mittleschmerz" For a few months I want to try this without using OPK's and just trying to figure out my body. Our Ancestors did just fine without OPK's. Maybe they were horn dogs and BD morning, noon and night everyday lololol
