Getting melted plastic off a flat top range?
We had company for the Jets game a few weeks ago and SIL melted a plastic bag to my range--the bread was obviously too close and we are the only ones that have an electric range, so no one is used to it!
Anyone know how to get it off without scratching and scraping the range? Its such an eyesore!!!!!!!
TIA!

I'd heat the oven up. Once it is hot, it should peal off.
I'm just guessing since I have not done that one. Plenty of others, but never that one.

I *think* nail polish remover will get it off.

In would heat up the oven.....then take a razor blade and scrape the stuff off. The razor blade will not hurt the glass surface of your stove.
