O question
Since coming off the pill my body is an exact science at every 28 days AF arrives. But does this mean I O on CD14 always? I'm so confused by all of this? I'm not temping or charting - yet. Was hoping to just BD like crazy around CD14 (a little before, a little after) and get preggers that way. So far, no luck tho. I thought I had read someplace that the LP has to be at least 10 days long for a pregnancy to stick. But I had a lot of CM on CD19 to CD20 on this cycle. I'm at CD25 today, so if the whole LP must be at least 10 days long then I couldn't have O'd on CD19-CD20? Am I just completely overthinking this?

Re: O question
I have about 28-29 day cycle and hardly O on CD14 - usually for me its anywhere between CD11-CD17
Its hard to tell from CM alone since you can get different types of CM throughout your cycle.
Temping is the only sure way to know if you O'd. An OPK would be helpful too, so you know what days to BD.
Good luck

Re: O question
It's really hard to say without temping or and OPK. Have you noticed any EWCM (is that what you mean by a lot of CM)? If you want to wing it, I'd say just BD every other day during the whole week of the 14th day...or from the CD10 to CD20 to make sure you've really covered all your bases.

Re: O question
You don't always O around CD14 if you have a 28-day cycle. You could O earlier or later. That's why people take their temperature or use OPKs - it gives us a better idea of what's going on. If you don't want to do this yet, simple observations should give you some clues. Definitely read (or skim) Taking Charge of Your Fertility - its really imformative.
What kind of CM are you observing on CD19 and 20? Its normal to have different kinds of CM throughout your cycle.

Re: O question
Thanks for the info! I will def look into that article. CD19 CM was more liquidy and CD20 was - I guess you could call it - thicker and more sticky. I'm so so so so sorry is this is TMI. I'm new to the boards so I'm still trying to figure out what is too much
