Those close to 40 weeks
Are you still driving, running errands, etc.? I'm 39 weeks, wondering if I should still drive long distances (not too long, like 30 minutes) - I want to stay busy. What is everyone else doing? So far if I get a contraction, its not too bad, but what if a bad one comes while driving?

Re: Those close to 40 weeks
I will be 40 weeks in 2 days.. I am a worry wart so the longest drive I would make alone is the 20 min to my parent's house. I wouldn't go to the mall alone or anything, which is a 10-15 min drive.

Re: Those close to 40 weeks
I try to stay pretty close to home nowadays. I dont drive to begin with but even with DH or someone else, I stay within 10 miles of home.

Re: Those close to 40 weeks
I went 6 days late with DS and was driving up until the end. I was even teaching dance until the day before my induction. You have to do what feels comfortable. I would probably max out drving at 20-30 minutes though, just as a precaution.
