Moms of 4 months olds....

How much does your child eat and how often?

My DD is EBF, she eats about 5 oz every 2.5 hours.

DD is formula fed...

And about every 3 hours she'll feast on 6-8 oz. Usually somewhere between 30-35 oz per day. We've recently introduced rice, oatmeal, and applesauce so far... we try 2 times a day with some food but she only has a little bit, not so sure of it yet.

DD is formula fed. She usually takes 6 oz every 3-4 hours. She used to take 5 bottles a day, but for the last few weeks has only been taking 4 bottles/day ( i tried to give her more oz per feeding, but she didnt want more than 6). We started giving her rice cereal once/day also (we're in the first week of that) and may bump that up to 2x/day.

I felt like she ate SO much as a NB, and now eats less than when she was 6 weeks old.

DD is formula fed & she has 5 or 6 6 oz. bottles a day (every 2.5-3 hours). We just started oatmeal this week, so I'm not sure how that will change things down the road, but she's just getting that as "extra" right now.

On average at 4 mos. DD would eat every 2.5 hours and about 5.5 ounces each time, but she is now formula fed.

DS isn't 4 months yet, he will be on the 7th, but I feel much better reading this. He also still eats every 2.5 sometimes 3 hours and I thought this was abnormal. He is only drinking 4 oz. formula with tsp. of cereal in each bottle. I am going to try and up it 1/2 oz. per feeding as soon as he is done with his antibiotics.

DS is abou 4.5 months. He eats 6 ozs every four hours (5 bottles total throughout the day) The last bottle we actually lowered to 5 ozs because we started cereal once a day (about 2 ozs oatmeal and 2 ozs formula before his last bottle for the night). My DH is huge (20 lbs 4 ozs; 27 1/4 inches) I'm thinking about how to add more cereal and fruit into his schedule. How do you know when to add more or what the feeding schedule should be like?

DD is 4.5 months, eats 1 4oz bottle 3 times in the am. Around noon she eats one jar of stage 1 fruit and then a 4oz bottle. She will have 2 more bottles then around 7-7:30pm she will have a jar of stage 1 veggies and a 5 oz bottle and then she is out until 6am.

DS will be 4 months on the 6th & currently eats 7oz every 3 hours (5 bottles total a day)
