Help me design...
A gender neutral "beachside cottage" themed nursery!!

I envision the colors of seaglass and sand, starfish and driftwood and seashells.
And I love this sign...
That's all I got.
Anyone have any ideas?!?!
What color carpet? What color furniture? Bedding? Walls?
Thanks!!
Any advice/suggestions welcome!

Re: Help me design...
I love the saying on the sign. You could have that done larger in a decal to put right onto the wall.
What color carpet? Tan would prob work best, I love wood flooring so I don't know much about carpet sorry. What color furniture? White Antique Looking, or even dark wood could work too. Bedding? I will keep my eyes out for anything I see. Walls? I would paint the top half one color, and the bottom half a darker color. Something blue/green. Beach like you described. Can you add a chair rail? Or while molding halfway up the wall?

I think you could make this more girly if you painted the walls like a buttercream yellow.

Re: Help me design...
our den is beach themed...we have BM sea glass for the walls, white roman shades (you can put a roller shade underneath), tan/gold low pile rug, dark furniture and white fabrics (though not baby friendly) along with a banana leaf chair.
Some pics: pillows are different on this couch...green like the walls with brown damask pattern.
Now on this table I have a large piece of driftwood. It looks so much better!

Re: Help me design...
Carpet tan = sand Walls a blue/green = sea furniture white = clouds you could do white roman shades with white curtain panels for now. Or wait on the curtains until after you have the baby and add the pink or blue then.
I think a blue/green or sea glass color for the walls is a great color. You can still add pinks or blues to the room after the baby is born.
Love that saying. Very cute.

Re: Help me design...
what about this inspiration?

this paint
then what if you got an empty lamp base and filled it with shells or beach glass?
Then get shadow boxes in white and fill them with sand and place a baby item in each of them and hang on the wall.
Then do a palm tree decal in white on the wall
Then get some cute tin beach pails with coordinating ribbon instead of baskets to hold diapers, and little accessories.
And you could do a little adirondack chair for the baby:
with a coordinating pillow
I would do a driftwood shelf also

The bedding, rug, paint and pillow are RH. The lamp is pottery barn, the beach glass is fro =m Save On Crafts, the chair is amazon, the shadow box is photoframesplus, the decal is etsy, the shelf I just googled and a bunch came up.
