Moms of really late teethers: When did DC get his/her first tooth?
DS is 12 months old and still doesn't have any teeth. Since his 4 month appointment, the doctors in the practice said that his gums are swollen. At his 9 month appointment, the doctor put a flashlight on his bottom gums and we could see 2 white spots underneath. Nothing has come to the surface yet though.
When did DC fianlly get his/her first tooth? Did the other teeth come in quickly after that?

DD just got her first two at 10 months. No sign of anything else popping out anytime soon!

DD just got her first tooth at 7 months. Check with your pediatrician if you are concerned.

DS cut his first tooth around his 1st birthday. After that, he started cutting multiple teeth at once. Right now at 20 months he has 6 in the front and 2 molars in the back. I look at it as a good thing- less chance of developing cavities!

Maddie didn't get her first tooth until she was 14 months old! It was ridiculous... I was sooo worried.. but honestly now she's 3 and has a full set of teeth- it was ridiculous to be worried.

DD got her 1st two teeth at 9 1/2 months, proceeded to get the next 2 4 days later.

Sorry, I didn't see this post and made one myself, lol. I know all kids are different, I just want to be prepared for it lol. My first son got his at 4 months old.

DS got his tooth at 10 months. We tend to be late teethers in my family, my mother told me that my sister got her first tooth at 15 months.
They'll come in eventually

My DD got her two bottom teeth at the same time at 11 1/2 months and then 3 weeks later she got the top four all at the same time.

DD is cutting her two bottom teeth now. She's 10.5 months. I suspect her top teeth are coming in as well.

12.5-13 mos. They started coming in normally directly after that.
