Those who were on the pill and came off ......
How long did it take for you to "O"?
I'm on CD12 after being on the pill for 10 years...... and could use some encouragement that I will O soon because I would love to join the December 2ww!

I got my  on CD 18 and CD 19 and didnt O until CD 21 Temperatures confirmed O on CD 22 when my temps shot up and stayed up.

I didn't track my O when I came off the pill, but the four cycles I have been off they have been 30 days, 32 days, 42 days and 42 days respectively. When my first month was 30 days I thought it was great and was totally shocked when my cycles started getting longer. Your body needs time to adjust so try not to stress over it because that could delay your O. Lots of !

My cycle was the most normal- O'ed around CD14 and got AF on CD 28. Since then...different story.

I always get the between days 15-17 and I have a 28ish day cycle. Once I got it on CD14. I wouldn't stress it right now.

This has been me almost to the day! and unfortunately my doctor thinks its because I didn't start ovulating until around August..I came off in May

this was my first cycle of bcp for 5 years and i dont know when i o'ed...but here is some hope for you girls...i got my BFP on cycle day 83!!! yes you read that right, cycle day 83. my doctor said i must have o'ed really late, which was good bc i was convinced i never did! i was actually there to get a rx to get my aunt flo!! i had poas 4 days prior to my appt too. so NEVER give up hope!!

I went off ithe pill in late September and my 1st cycle was normal... as if I were still on it. Now... I am on CD41 and counting!! I've gotten two BFNs and nothing seems to be happening. I don't temp so I have no idea if/when I O'd.
Here's to everyone becoming regular!! Or getting BFPs.

My story is similar to Firebaby's. I went off in May and had long cycles off the bat....51 days, 36, 39. The doc didn't think I was O'ing. I think I started O'ing (based on finally getting pos OPKs and EWCM) in September and my cycle moved to 33 days--where they've been since. I know O around CD 20-21.
However, every one is different. Plenty of my friends have O'd the first cycle off of bcp--within a completely normal time frame--and quite a few got pregnant that cycle, too.

I didn't at all my first month off the pill. The second cycle it was somewhere around CD 17.

I went off birth control at the end of august. My first month was 40 something days and I am almost positive I did not O.
My second month I did not O until CD 28-29 and got my BFP on CD 43!
Dont give up hope
