okay back to the apartment finally after hanging out in the house with my parents (dh had to work) we are in the village of lindenhurst.

The closing was a NIGHTMARE they seller's almost walked out because the seller's lawyer was PIZZZEd off that the Town of Babylon check was not certified (it is a town check) and he freaked out royally! We had to sign that we would cover it if it wouldn't cash, then our lawyer signed saying he would cover it if it didn't cash because he was like in all the years of doing this I have never had someone not take a town check, etc.

Then they were arguing about other stuff i felt like i was on tv in a court show. The bank atty, title person and the town lawyer was completely horrified and said this was just a nightmare of a closing (3 HOURS)!

I really think we over paid on closing costs since they had a HUGE error on their paper work stating we were giving 15K down but we gave 20K so i kept saying it didn't add up then they had amend the paper work but what happened to the 5K? Kept saying it but no one will answer me.

Anyway we have the house I am going to call on Monday to really figure out about the finances because we are BROKE but WE HAVE A HOUSE!!!!!
