In 10 years I have seen him cry once, when my father died. He teared up at our wedding and maybe one or two other times.

I have known him for 12 years and in that time I saw him cry twice.
Once when his mom was dying and once when our cat died.

That was it.


Me on the other hand.... I break a nail and it's the water works!

DH is more of a crier than I am. I shut down, he tears up.

DH is an emotional guy and he has no problem showing his emotions.

ETA: him and my father are both big guys and they re probably the two biggest mushes ever!

I have seen DH cry a only a handful of times in the 7 years we have been together

1 - when his good childhood friend died
2 & 3 - when our children were born
4 - our wedding day
5 - when my mom was in the ICU after having major surgery

I have never seen DH cry in the 6 years I have known him. He did get "emotional" at the altar on our wedding day and when DD was born.

I only saw my dh cry once over not getting tickets that he was told were his to a sporting event. He was doing construction work at our house with my dad that day. My dad said my dh got the phone call letting him know he didn't get the tickets he hung up the phone started speaking in tongues and hammering the nails into the sheetrock really hard. My dad decided for the safety of everyone involved they would not use power tools that day.

zero in the last 6 months.

in 10 years, i've only seen my DH cry 3 times. Nope, it wasn't our wedding or the loss of our TwinB, not the birth of our son or anything like that... once was the wake of a kid he graduated with (just 5 days earlier...killed in a car accident 5 days after HS graduation), the other 2 were the funerals of his aunt and uncle.

i seen my so cry twice. once when we got into a really bad fight and once when his mom got hit by a car. and ive been with him almost 6 years

It's pretty rare. In the last 6 months, I think I saw DH cry once- the day our son was born.

I've known DH for almost 10 years. I've never seen him cry before - get teary once or twice maybe. We lost our little Pookie cat two weeks ago He's cried a few times because of that

Rob honestly doesn't really cry at all. I may have seen him cry 6 times in the last decade! And when I say cry.. I mean his eyes get a little moist and he gets a lump in his throat!

And it's generally serious stuff.. like when my parents died, when my sister died, when our sons were born.. and maybe a few random moments outside of that.

My DH is a total mush. In the past 6 months I've seen him cry no less than 6 times - for both big things (like my nephew's death, or my mom's lung cancer diagnosis), and little things, like staring at DD and getting overwhelmed with emotion at how cute she is.

When he came rushing home from the City and told me his father did not make it at the hospital. We both hugged each other and cried.

I've only seen him cry twice in the 10 years we've known each other and one of those times was when his father passed away.

DH doesnt cry a lot...me on the other hand, I cry depending on the hormones and the situation

I have seen my DH cry on a few occasions.

It always still surprises me bc my dad NEVER cried that I know of. My brother...only at wakes of family or friends..once REALLY bad (a close family friend).

I have seen DH cry once in the past 6 months and that was at our wedding. I think I have seen him cry 5 times in the almost 5 years we have been together and most of that was when my stepfather was sick/passed away.
