I am almost 32 weeks just went last night to meet the pediatrician we have decided to go with (he is my niece and nephews doctor) and really good so i knew when i got pregnant i was going with him..I would start making a list of potentials that you will want to meet with

with ds i started looking around 32 weeks.. right after i was in the ldr for preterm labor and i realized i really needed one.. but i didnt interview any.. i actually called the one i was interested in and spoke to the office manager about my questions... and i love both of the doctors in the group

I started calling last week. I couldn't get appointments for consults until 11/17 or 12/3 (but, I'm in Rockland County and it seems that consults aren't popular up here).

38 weeks - I should have been on the ball. my reasoning is that I would just use the hospital's ped if I needed. good thing I found one, since I HATED the hospital's ped.

i started looking around 32 weeks. I didnt meet any. a few didnt do interviews and the one that did i couldnt get to fit my schedule. HOwever, I did do a phone interview with them and decided to go with them for now. I met one of the dr's at my childbirth class
start finding out who is under your insurance and go from there.

I started right around 27-30wks. I didnt pick someone til i was about 32-33 wks though.

well i pretty much knew who i was going to use already, but we called my own pediatrician from when i was little to get his reccomendation (he's the only doctor i trust) and he suggested the one i was going to use anyway. So we made an official decision at about 28-29 weeks

I interviewed one that was recommended on here when I was 34 weeks and we are pretty sure we will use them!
