OPK-If you use the kind with the lines
This is my first time using OPKs in a few months. In the past when I used them, I always had 2 lines...one was always pretty faint, but I could always see 2. I started testing again this week on CD 13, and I keep seeing only one line. Does that happen to anyone else?

A couple of times that I tested I didn't get any test line just the control line. Just means that its negative.

Today was my first day using them. But I read the directions (like 30 times) and it says that it can be negative if you have a test line lighter than the control line or only the control line and no test line.

I have used 2 different brands of line OPK tests for two months and I have gotten every color line you can practically imagine 
All you have to really look for is a line that is just as dark or darker then the control line.
HOwever, if you get NO lines that that means the test is invalid and you should test again with a different one

Yes. That is what happens to me in the beginning part of my cycle when testing. I would really only see one line for a few days. When do you usually ovulate?? Is it later in your cycle?
I usually would have a few days with only one line. from CD 13-15, then CD 16-18 a dark line and one light line...Then got two equal lines on CD 19

Thanks ladies!
I usually O pretty late (anywhere from CD 20-23). I finally got a second faint line today (CD 17) so hopefully I will get a + soon!!
