whats the story with Soy???
DH tells me not to have soy its bad for your chances to get pregnant. But then I see a coworker who is pregnant eating soy nuts as a snack????
Im so confused. Why cant you have it before but after is ok?

I don't actually know the recommendations for soy and pregnant women.
It's highly debatable. Soy is a phytoestrogen (plant hormone), which some experts say act like estrogen in the body and can interfere with hormone levels (which is what your DH is probably talking about) and can potentially cause breast cancer. But that link has never been proven.
Other experts say soy is a super food and can help prevent cancer. There's also some speculation that it can have a negative affect on people with hypothyroid.
Personally, I eat it in moderation and seek out unprocessed versions--non genetically modified. It's become like everything else that has a lot of hype---tons of manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon and started adding it to everything, which in my opinion isn't necessary.

I can't do regular milk it makes me gag. I always use soy milk in my cereal, oatmel, etc.. I just got my BFP, and don't think it effected anything. DH eats it too.
