Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

my dd loved it I used it alot we used it in restaurants when I didn't want to bring her in the carrier (she hates her carseat) she didn't fit well in the high chairs at the restaurant or in one of the portable ones there was no support and if you are like us this will come in handy when you are on the go...

Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

I didn't but received one anyway. I really like it. DS just started cereal and I sit him in the bumbo to eat. It also use it when I'm getting ready (doing hair, makeup, etc...) I can sit him in it in the bathroom. I used to use his bouncer but he has out grown it.

Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

I ended up trading exchanging it for summer infant seat. DS looooooves sitting in there. I liked the summer seat better because I felt it would last longer and seemed more useful.

I never had one with DS#1 and thought they were silly. Then my mom bought me a Bebepod for DS#2 and I love it. I can't believe how much I love it. DS has always had be reflux and hated bouncy chairs and swings, but he does really well in his little Bebepod. It's so portable. I love it.

We registered for one...and received one. At first DD didn't like it...but now at 4 months, she's starting to enjoy it. I see it being very useful once we start her on solids!

DS never liked it. He would arch his back and try to get out. He is a chubba and his legs would get stuck.

I had high hopes, but by the time my little chunkster could hold his head up, his legs were too fat to fit in it. Chat Icon

My DS did not like it at all. We only used it a couple of times with him.

Now DD likes it a lot, we use it every day. Even so, did we "need" one? Absolutely not. It's just another activity to rotate throughout the day.

We used it once - for 2 minutes. That's all. So I say no. DS was too chubby for it and he hated being squished in it.

Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

LOVED the bumbo. Would have used it much longer but DS had surgery at 9 months and wasn't allowed anything between the legs.

I used it for feeding him cereal/solids for the longest time. Never bothered with a Highchair. I felt it help him build up his back muscles. We started using it at about 11 weeks.

Used it when I wanted to take a shower/get ready. DS was never a fan of the bouncer or swing, so this was great for us.

Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

Love it!!! Could not do without it!! DD loves it! Makes her feel like a big girl to sit up....and we use it to feed her in...no need for a high chair at 4 months old to eat some cereal.....I use the bumbo everyday and highly recommend it.

Re: Do I need to register for a Bumbo seat?

Huh for us-it was a waste of money. We only used it a few times-but I use my high chairs to feed them and usually keep them in their stroller in restaurants
