Re-Fi Closing this sat- UPDATE
I dont post much on the home board, usually just "chime" in evey now & then . I allready bought a home years ago, ( 9yrs) so whereas you girls are pretty much doing all sorts of new things mine is / was done.
We were selling at one point & after looking around @ other houses & seeing the actual potential that my house has, we decided to stay put & do construction.
So we re-financed & not only did we get a great rate, we are refinancing & taking out extra $ for the future construction & our MTGE payment is going to be $40 less a month.. Hey $40 bucks is $40 bucks right
When I bought the house 9yrs ago, I did a dormer , now we are just gonna blow the whole entire top out once & for all..
Sooo, saturday is our closing finally !!! & Within the next few weeks, the hammers, nail guns, saws, etc will be taking over .. We are adding 2 more bedrooms & a 1/2 bath. Re-locating the inside stairs to the front of the house . We are also adding stairs on the 2nd story deck. & Do a bunch of inside cosmetic work.
So like you girls I hope to be sharing my expericnce & photos as it moves along...
I cant wait. Im finally getting a formal dining room. that in-it-self im thrilled about.
Sorry its so long winded, just super excited....
xoxo

Oh etd , to add.. for starters this is what the front of my house currently looks like . The left side is going to be getting the new dormer. We may also chneg the color siding. Still debating that one
