Re: Valspar Paint

I like it better than Behr's but not as much as BM.

Re: Valspar Paint

We've used it to paint our entire house and I have no problems with it whatsoever....my stepfather is a painter and he said it was fine.

Re: Valspar Paint

I heard a lot of good things about it, but honestly, I will never use it again. I would recommend getting samples, I found it was not true to color at all. I thought Behr was almost the exact color of the card and better to paint with. For a few dollars more per gallon I'd go with Behr.

Re: Valspar Paint

We just used it to paint our bathroom. We have always use BM but decided to try this brand. It was true to color for me and so far good.

Re: Valspar Paint

For us BAD! It was runny, had poor coverage and didn't wear well. We wound up repaiting our 2 Valspar rooms 2 years later.....My BM rooms are going on 7 years and still look brand new.

Re: Valspar Paint

We really liked it (almost as much as BM). We used it to paint our laundry room. Covered in one coat, the color was great and the smell wasn't overpowering like some other brands.

A few of our rooms are Valspar from Lowes. No complaints here. To me, they are true to color. Chat Icon

Re: Valspar Paint

We used it in our bedroom, we usually use BM. The color was nice, went on well, but I found it didn't wash off spots well at all and we need to repaint alot sooner than we normally do. That being said, it was on sale when we bought it and much cheaper than the BM.
