Just curious- ladies that were overdue
If you were overdue with your DC, how many days late were you and when did your doctor decide/plan to induce? Did you end up with an induction in the end or no?

I was 5 days late. I actually went to the dr. and apparently my water had broken without me realizing lol. They sent me straight to the hospital to be induced. Unfortunately I was only 2 cm dilated for 24 hours so ended up with a C-section. Good luck!!

I was 5 days late when my son was born.
I went into labor at about 9pm at night and went to the hospital at 8am. He was born 1:25pm the next day. He was out in 15 minutes of pushing.

I went into labor on the 8th day and had her on the 9th. My doctor was going to induce me on the 12th day.

With DD, I was exactly one week late. I would've had an appointment that day to discuss when to induce, but I was in the hospital at the time & didn't make the appointment.
With DS, I went into labor 8 days late & DS was born 9 days late (I had a 25 hour labor). I was scheduled to be induced at 42 weeks if I hadn't gone by then.

I was 6 days late with my DS #1. I tried the labor inducing eggplant recipe and I went into labor while it was in the oven.

i had an appt on my due date and it was decided then that i would be induced 5 days later. It was a successful induction, i was in labor for 8 hours.

I waas late and the doc was planning to induce at 9 days late, but I went into labor the night before the induction.

I was induced exactly 1 week past my due date. It was successful, I had a good vaginal birth experience.

I had DS 3 days late. I had an appt the evening before (wed) & my Doc striped my membranes in an attempt to help me along. I had lost a small piece of my mucus plug that morning. The plan was for me to start induction Sunday night(6 days late) if I did not go on my own. I guess DS didn't like that idea because early the next morning (thurs), I went into labor & my contractions were 3 minutes apart from the beginning. After 19 hours of labor I ended up with a c-section because DS never dropped into the birth canal & his heart rate started to drop. DS was born at 11:56 pm that night.

Scheduled to be induced 1 week later. Went into labor on my own 5 days late. I wasn't dilated at all before that.

I was induced the night I was 7 days overdue, had DD a few hours later, so technically on the 8th day overdue.

1 week after my DD the Doc sched me to get induced a few days later. It was a total of 10 days. At the hospital I wound up going into labor and long story short... I had to get a Crash C-Section and never got induced. Both baby and I are doing great and he's going to be 1 month tomorrow

DD#1 was born 2 days after my due date. We were going to talk induction the day after at my appointment, but she ended up coming on her own.
DD#2 was born through a different hospital and through a different doctor. She was born 6 days late. The doctor told me we wouldn't even discuss induction until I reached 41 weeks, and they said that unless there was a NEED to get the baby out that they would induce at 42 weeks.
