spinoff to when did you start
I'm being nosey today, sorry. It's just really interesting to me. lol. Curious how long after the wedding that you & your husband began trying for a baby. Looking to see what the average waiting time is in most couples.

I clicked "around 3 years" but it was really closer for 4. We started trying in February, and our 4 year anniversary is in a few weeks.

Well we had a surprise pregnancy almost 4 months after we got married. But now we are officially TTC, and we will be married 1 year and 6 months on the 4th of July!

right now me & dh are at 6 months. We originally planned to start trying in ANOTHER 6 months (making it a full year). But now we've just kinda got the attitude of "Come what may". We're not necessarily 'trying' (i'm not going to be using the OPKs and such) but we're not gonna be 'careful' either. So we'll see what happens until that year mark. THEN we'll get serious.

I clicked 2 years but it was 2.5 years. We started trying in March 09 and will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary in Aug 09.

I think a come what may attitude is a great way to go! DH and I started about 2 months before a full year (originally we said 1 year) b/c of all i heard about the fact it could take a while...so we decided to have fun and go through the summer...well on month 2 we got a BFP! Just be sure to know that if you try it could happen! lol

We started on the honeymoon, which was about a month after the wedding. He's a little over 30 and I'm just about 30 and we want 2 so we figured we'd better get crackin! DH wanted to wait until this fall so we'd have a summer baby but since I have PCOS, I knew we wouldn't get PG right away so I convinced him to start earlier.

I answered 6 months to a year.
After we got married, we weren't technically TTC, but we weren't trying to avoid it either
Since we've hit the one year mark though (which was May) we started to be more aware of timing and all
