Re: Growing up in the 80's. Did you put posters

No posters for me - we weren't allowed tape or pushpins in the walls.

Instead I had stickers ALL over my closet door. The irridescent-y ones that came out of the machines in supermarkets, sports teams, garbage pail kids, Lisa Frank, radio stations, etc...

Totally - until we re-decorated my room and then they were just on the back of my door and closet doors...

on your walls? If so who were they of? Actors? Rock bands?
I was a nut with magazines. I had them all- Tiger Beat, Bop, Bip Bopper etc.

I loved River Pheonix, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Kirk Cameron and Sean Austin. lol

Then in the late 80's they came down and NKOTB went up.

My walls were always covered with someone.

Share yours.

I had all of these but then when I got alittle older it changed to Grateful Dead Posters. I'm a huge fan. So I had a Steal Your Face poster and a huge european subway sized psoter of "Dead Set" which still happens to be one of my favorite GD images...

Then I went away to college and got really into murals of images cut out of magazines and other random stuff.

I did, I had tons and tons of posters on the back of my door (I had fancy wallpaper, so no bluetack on the walls)

I had New Order, Duran Duran, The Smiths, Frankie Goes to Hollywood...I have some photos of them somewhere, when I find them I will post them.

Re: Growing up in the 80's. Did you put posters

I was soooo lucky because I had a built in desk that ran te length of one of my bedroom walls and from the top of that to the ceiling were shelves ... so I would tape posters from magazines together to form a long chain and hang them from the shelves.

My first crush was Chad Allen and his posters I put in a photo album.

I have always been into photography. I always carried a camera around so my walls were covered with picture collages, no posters.

Oh yes. I loved Ralph Macchio with all my heart and with every inch of my wall space. I also devoted some space to all the hotties from The Outsiders.

Ditto on Ralph Macchio AND The Outsiders. But I also had Kirk Cameron and assorted others (maybe John Stamos? Can't think of them right now...) But my walls were COVERED.

Yes, I had them all over my side of the room. It changed depending what music I was into. I remember a distinct Motley Crue phase. After that, it was the Sex Pistols and Public Image Limited.
