For the DYI posters - where did you buy your laminate flooring? and some Qs
I have heavy pieces of furniture. I don't want "dents" from the furniture. Is there different "density/grade" for laminate flooring?
Where did you buy yours?

We got ours from BJs. My parents used the same kind in their house and in my grandfathers condo. It is very sturdy and so easy (according to my dad and dh).

Lumber Liquidators... pics in my album.
We got the 12mm so it's pretty thick and durable. The kit we got also came with furniture pads to put under the legs of all our furniture.

Home Depot..Dh installed it and it has withstood 2 dogs, 2 kids, dining room furniture, living room furniture and lots of traffic. We used Dupont brand.

We bought it at Lowes...I can't remember the brand, but it was $2.59/foot. We have it in the kitchen and den and it's gotten a bit of abuse with no issues whatsoever.

We got ours at Lumber Liqudators. We didn't put anything under the furniture, and I haven't see any dents when we move it to vacuum.
The brand we got was called DreamHome Nirvana.

Us, too. We've only had it a week, but so far, so good. I think it's great looking, personally. I'm sure there's better grades of laminate, but still, for the money, it seems good.
