What is wrong with this picture?

Do I not use the scarf? Get the 84" curtains instead of the 63" ones? Shorten the scarf? Use another color with it? Its in my bedroom. Thanks - as you can see I have no decorating abilities I'll show the before and afters of my bedroom when my furniture comes this week

I think the window is too small for the scarf. and it's too white for me.... i would get a longer 84" panel with a pattern on it... maybe some little roses or something.

I would use a valance and another color (Accent) since its white vs white vs neutral. The window sits low on the wall from the look of it so i think a valance would work or just a very short scarf tucked in the sides.

I think you need to use an accent color and make the side curtains shorter.

You need floor length curtains and a different color scarf IMO.

I would either do longer curtains so they are the same length...

Or, try swagging down the valance a little in the middle so it rises a bit on either side.

I would raise the curtain rod so the curtains fall just a little below the sill. Then like PP said get either a different color scarf or on with a bit of a pattern. Good luck!!

I think the curtains need to fall to the floor so the scarf and the curtains are the same length.

I like the white on white-very tranquil.

If you want to stay with the white and white, which is fine, then the panels need to come to the floor like the scarf. What colors are your walls, what color will the furniture be, do you have accent colors in the room?

The curtains should be hitting the floor whereas the scarf should be shorter than the curtains. At least IMO.

I like the white on white look. The color wasn't really my problem. The walls are sage green, carpet is beige, and the furniture is dark dark wood. That is why I wanted the white curtains. But I think I am going to get the longer curtains. Thanks for all the imput!!!!! My daughters room and bathroom are the only things decorated, lol. I am bad at this stuff.

I would shorten the scarf.

In my own home - none of the curtains will be hitting the floor - I'm not a fan of that look unless it's a sliding glass door.

I like a contrast so I would use another color and probably a pattern or tecture for one elemant. I like the curtain length to be longer or the same length as the scarf.
